Forward bloc slams Communist Parties over lost motto
Nagpur, Feb 17: The All India Forward Bloc Sunday slammed the Communists Parties in the country alleging that they have lost direction, have deviated from their path and are following capitalist forces, its general secretary, Debarata Biswas, MP said Sunday.
"The communists have deviated from the path and the big brother attitude of CPI(M) is the main reason for political tension in West Bengal Left Front, of which AIFB is a partner and blamed them for division in Tripura," Biswas told newsmen at the end of three-day national council meeting, here today.
It was unfortunate that for the first time, AIFB will be contesting assembly elections there without any pre-poll truck with other left front partners. This particular development showed that Communists Parties are not interested to strengthen left unity. AIFB was committed to build the unity of social left and political left, Biswas said.
"A democratic, secular, progressive people's alternative under the leadership of left parties is the need of the hour," bisWas said adding his party will make all efforts in this direction. AIFB will launch a campaign on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose from Haripura (Gujarat) to Tripuri (MP) from Feb 19 to March 11.
It was organising a march on parliament by people of Kashmir on April 3 to highlight the plight of kashmiris. They are suffering not only due to military but also due to mal administration, corruption and atrocities by armed forces and police, he said.
