Left Front eyes Malda zilla parishad to recapture

With a view to recapture Malda zilla parishad (MZP) in the forthcoming panchayat polls, scheduled to be held in May, the district Left Front would start its first campaign by staging a demonstration in front of MZP on 7 March. In last panchayat polls the RSP went it alone and the CPI-M lost one seat. Out of 33 seats the LF had won only 16 seats.
