CID confirms Jagaccha quack’s suicide

CID’s chargesheet submitted at the CJM court, Howrah today confirmed that
Jagachha quack, Jayanta Bag had indeed committed suicide.
“Jayanta Bag (35) and his wife Sutapa Bag (32) killed their nine
-year-old daughter Piyasa and then attempted suicide. Sutapa who survived the
fateful incident has been charged with murder and will be arrested soon,”
confirmed Mr Bhupinder Singh, ADG, CID. Sutapa has been booked under IPC
Sections 302, 306 and 309 for murder, abetment to suicide and attempted suicide.
CID has also booked four members of local club, Mahabir Sangha, Ujjwal Biswas,
Biswajeet Pal alias Jhontu, Raju Rai and Ashis Koley, for assault, ransack and
abating suicide. Mr Singh added that many issues had to be taken into
consideration before submitting the final chargesheet.
