No one was injured. The Basque police said in a statement that the bomb exploded at 3.25 am in Elgoibar, following a telephone warning in the name of Basque separatist group ETA. The warning was received by emergency road services and the police cordoned off streets and evacuated residents after finding a suspicious package. Regional interior ministry spokesman Javier Balza said investigators had clues about the culprits behind the bombing. "There is an idea, or analysis, shared by local, regional and national police forces about the structure of what we are facing," Mr Balza said. The police said the bomb contained 3 kg of explosives and a timer. The explosion caused considerable damage to the interior of the office. A car parked immediately opposite the door had shrapnel damage to its bodywork and its windows were blown out. (AP) *** Rice on Iraq visit Baghdad, April 20: Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived in Baghdad on Sunday and said her latest trip here was intended to promote fresh political gains she sees to be flowing from government-led assaults on radical militias. Ms Condoleezza Rice’s brief and heavily guarded visit was not announced in advance in keeping with security precautions adopted by all top US officials who remain targets of the anti-American insurgents five years after the US-led invasion of Iraq and the fall of Saddam Hussein. The top US diplomat was meeting with Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki, Kurdish President, Jalal Talabani, and other top Iraqi officials. (AP)
