Mozilla Corporation has brought out the ‘release candidate’ of Firefox 3 for the public.
Release candidate is geek for the fine-tuned version of software than can become the final product. Firefox 3, the latest version of the popular open source browser, can now be downloaded by Windows, Mac, and Linux users.
Though the general public can use it, the release candidate is actually meant for developers to test new features.
Firefox3 has vastly improved its look and feel and also offers enhanced security features.
Open source fans also claim that applications such as Gmail run twice as fast in Firefox 3 when compared to Firefox 2.
There are also many improvements in bookmarks, history, cookies, and preferences.

Six million MP3s offer
Music site Napster will start offering around 6 million MP3 tracks to users for download from Tuesday.
The tracks are being offered without the Digital Rights Management tag. This means that they can be downloaded and transferred. Though other sites are also offering unprotected MP3s for download, music buffs are really excited by the Napster announcement.
This is no wonder since Napster has probably the biggest catalogue of music in the Internet.
Of course, only paid subscribers of Napster can download the MP3s but they can be played in any media player.
It has also spruced up its download system to help users download tracks.

New phone launched
We are still attracted by labels of biggest, smallest, thickest and slimmest and mobile companies know this well enough.
The latest to enter the arena is mobile phone manufacturer Mobiado which has launched its Professional 105 ZAF touting it as the thinnest luxurious phone ever. ZAF is just 10.6 mm thick and Mobiado claims that it is an ‘engineering masterpiece’.
The front and back covering of the phone are made of crystal Sapphire and its body is made of sturdy aircraft aluminum. Further, Mobiado has buttons of stainless steel which gives the phone a strong but slim look.
ZAE is available in six designer colours and has more than 1 GB memory.
