Microsoft in talks with operators for tie-up in Eastern region
Microsoft India is reportedly in talks with some of the operators present in the eastern part of the country to offer bundled telecom offers.
Microsoft Director Communications and Media segment, Amajit Gupta, stated that the proposed tie-up will offer a cheaper voice solution as well as other VAS content.
The company is also planning to introduce around 10 new handsets in the country. Presently the company offers 30 different models to choose from in the handset space.
Gupta revealed that the company is eying the sub-Rs. 5000 handset market and the company will launch some handset models in this price range.
