Aamir Khan injured while shooting a stunt in 'Ghajini'
The action scene had Aamir engaging in a hand-to-hand combat. He had to lift a 100kg man and throw him against the wall. But when Aamir lifted the bulky man, his hamstring muscle tore up. The actor sat down and couldn’t get up again. He was in excruciating pain.
Reports say Aamir was immediately rushed to a nursing home nearby. The doctors gave the actor basic medication and advised him to rest till the hamstring heals.
Consequently, director A Murugadoss has cancelled the film’s shooting for an indefinite period. He says he won’t shoot action scenes until Aamir gets a go-ahead from the doctors.
For more than a week, Aamir had been working relentlessly hard in shooting the action scenes for ‘Ghajini’ because he wants to wrap the film quickly to return to Mumbai to work on the post-production of his next production Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na which introduced his nephew.
Now, with Aamir getting bed-ridden, there is a probability that he might complete the post-production of ‘Jaane Tu’ first and shoot action scenes for ‘Ghajini’ later.
