Immediately after entering the office of the SP she started hurling allegations against the district administration in general and the SP in particular for terrorizing her parties voters in Nandigram and alleging that the police and the administration have been instrumental in driving away TMC voters from Garchakraberia, Sonachura, and other neighboring villages for ensuring the victory of the CPM candidates in the area. Sisir Adhikary MLA and her chief aide in East Midanpur District also entered the SP's room and was scene crying allegations against the SP S S Panda. Large number of TMC and Bhoomi Uchched Protoride Committee (BUPC) supporters surrounded the SP's office outsides shouting Vande Mataram and anti-CPM slogans. A nervous S P requested the TMC supremo to take a chair and tried to discuss the problem with her. But the undaunted leader refused to sit and said she will not leave the SP's room until Nandigram returns to normalcy. “I am the last person to leave this place and will keep standing till the police stops terrorizing my voters in Nandigram. Hundreds of my voters have been driven out of their villages, some of women's voters were raped and others were stripped and forced to join CPM processions. This cannot continue. I want to see what do you want finally?” Mamata asked.
