CPI(M) MP, Lakshman Seth threatens DIG CRPF

Communist Party of India - Marxist (CPI-M) MP Lakshman Seth on Sunday called DIG CRPF Aloke Raj over phone and threatened him to confine himself to his area.

Nandigram: Communist Party of India - Marxist (CPI-M) MP Lakshman Seth on Sunday called DIG CRPF Aloke Raj over phone and threatened him to confine himself to his area; and all this happened in the full glare of the media as Raj had put his mobile on speaker.

Raj, who was on a patrol with District Magistrate A K Agarwal, sternly told the MP that he had been doing his duty and he (Seth) had no right to restraint his movement or interfere in his work.

He also felt sorry on an FIR of molestation logged against him and told that he will approach the court against such false allegations by CPI-M supporters.

Meanwhile, Lakshman Seth, when contacted, said, "I called him up regarding CPI-M supporters being beaten up by CRPF jawans. He was doing all this with a motive." "Aloke Raj also beat Nandigram OC Debasish Cahkroborty and he is in the hospital," said Seth.

He called Raj's putting the mobile on speaker as unethical and said that Raj did it intentionally. "Media too is spreading wrong information on the incident," said the angry MP.
