Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf resigned from office Monday, nine years after he toppled the government of Nawaz Sharif in October 1999.
Islamabad, Aug 18 (IANS) Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf resigned from office Monday, nine years after he toppled the government of Nawaz Sharif in October 1999.
He said his resignation had been sent to the National Assembly speaker.
