In complete Bollywood style, six armed dacoits today looted Rs 20 lakhs from a branch of Central Bank in city's busiest Johari Bazar.

In complete Bollywood style, six armed dacoits today looted Rs 20 lakhs from a branch of Central Bank in city's busiest Johari Bazar. "Just when the regular working hours started in the office, a few armed dacoits entered the bank wearing mask and holding revolver. They spread in different areas and closed the bank from inside and cut all the phone and computer connections and managed to loot a sum of nearly 20 lakhs," said IG Pankaj Singh.

The police has started a major hunt operation. “We have seized all the ways leading to highways. Massive search has been alerted around the city and we will catch them soon", claimed Singh.

According to an eyewitness account the robbers went in separate directions in grey Indica cars after the loot.

The robbery that took place near a police station in the bazar is also the biggest loot in the city in last two year.
