By SANJIB DEB
Agartala, May 3: The Tripura Pradesh Congress has constituted an expert committee to go into the functioning of the electronic voting machine and as per its findings came to the conclusion that the electronic voting device has played spoilsport in diminishing the party’s prospects in the recently-held state Assembly elections.
It also accused chief electoral officer G.S.G. Iyengar of "manipulating" the entire process by bribing the company which supplied the EVMs. At a press conference, the Congress leaders said that the "findings" of the expert committee "revealed" that the EVMs can be manipulated.
