Munshi discharged, on his way to Delhi

Kolkata, July 17: Union minister Priya Ranjan Das Munshi, who was badly missed
by the Congress leadership in the wake of the Left’s withdrawal of support to
the UPA government, was on Thursday discharged from hospital.
The information and broadcasting minister flew back to the capital soon after
his discharge from the hospital. "I am going to Delhi right now and I will
deliberate on the situation there. I am confident that everything will be all
right," Mr Das Munshi said briefly after being discharged from the hospital
where he underwent angioplasty 10 days ago.
AICC general secretary Mohsina Kidwai said Mr Munshi is the most needed person
in Delhi in view of the political developments. "He is the most needed person in
Delhi at this hour. I am happy to hear from you that he has been discharged from
hospital," she said.
