New Delhi, May 14: Former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda on Wednesday hit out at the BJP for trying to politicise human tragedy in the wake of the serial blasts in Jaipur.
Without naming the BJP, Mr Gowda said, "Even if there has been any lapse on anybody’s part, which led to this inhuman tragedy, I believe that this is not the time to indulge in petty politics and blamegame. However, those who accuse others of being ‘soft’ towards terrorism would do well to do soul-searching and introspection as to what is happening in their own backyard."
He said he admired the resilience, fortitude and tolerance displayed by the people of Jaipur in the face of grave provocation.
