The victory on Tuesday was the Kolkata Knight Riders’ third at the Eden Gardens in the presence of Shah Rukh Khan and this time, the team owner seemed more relieved than happy. "Every match at this stage is crucial for us. I have told the guys not to harp on analyses by analysts, and rather treat each ball as its merit. Post mortems of matches gone by is absolutely unnecessary," Shah Rukh told reporters after match end at the Eden Gardens. "I always try to keep in touch with the entire team. I feel it’s my job to interact with all the players in the squad other than a few individuals. It’s immensely important to keep the team motivated and on high spirits," he added. Shah Rukh, however, did not seem to be overjoyed with his trumpcard Shoaib Akhtar doing more than half the job by polishing off the Daredevils top order. Rather he said it was quite "normal" for someone like Shoaib and "it had to happen." "I had dreamt that Shoaib would contribute to my team’s victory taking as many wickets. After all, Shoaib has proven to the world and to himself as well, what he is capable of. That’s the reason I opted for him during the bidding." Meanwhile, King Khan appeared a little perturbed as well following the blasts in Jaipur on Tuesday evening. "The word unfortunate too doesn’t suffice as far as this incident is concerned. None but innocent people are being victimised because of this unwarranted tension between factions. This must come to a stop immediately," a worried Shah Rukh signed off.
