"Yesterday it was a very special day for me. All this while I wanted to walk into the field and start playing. But it is not that easy when you come back after an injury. The win was a treat for us. And also watching Sanath play from the non-strikers end was something I thoroughly enjoyed," said Tendulkar. Mumbai Indians’ were looking to continue the momentum they had picked up with the win over Chennai Super Kings against the Kolkata Knight Riders, he said. "After losing four matches early we lacked momentum but we have bounced back. Jayasuriya is surely given a new lease of life to the team. I do not want to think about the semifinals yet as we want to take it step by step. Right now our focus is on the match against Knight Riders on Friday," added the little master. "Both teams are good competitors and I know for sure that it would be a close call. But it will be a match to delight spectators," added Tendulkar. On his battle with Shoaib Akhtar he added, "It has never been a battle between individuals. It is a team game and two individuals put against each other doesn’t serve the purpose." "Twenty20 is not just for youngsters and that has been proved in this competition. "I have never entertained that question of older players not being made for this format," said Tedulkar, on whether seniors could handle the format. "It (playing T20) is a terrific feeling and the atmosphere is different. Playing at Wankhede has been always special and the crowd has supported us and I hope they keep doing that in future as well," added the master blaster about his Twenty20 experience.
