Pregnant Olympic star Denise Lewis was "shaken and shocked" after being
carjacked near her home in Britain last week.
Her £25,000 VW Golf R32 was rammed from behind by a silver Audi, which she
noticed had been tailing her for a mile. She got out to check the damage, and a
passenger from the Audi leapt into her 150mph motor and sped off.
Denise, 35, said: "Of course, because I am expecting a baby, that brought a lot
of fears to my mind." The heptathlon gold medallist ran after her sporty black
car. But it roared away, followed by the Audi.
Denise, immediately rang cops, who picked her up, drove her home and took a
statement.
Denise said: "I was a bit shaken and shocked. But I was lucky I wasn't hurt. It
could have been a lot worse. I ran after my VW but it sped away."
"I don't know what's happened to my car," she added.Thames Valley officers are
checking CCTV footage in the area. The Audi driver was white, aged 20 to 25, and
the passenger Asian, in his mid-20s. Television's Top Gear host had given the
Golf R32 a five-star rating earlier this year.

to the stars.
