Sugar Ray and Edmondo excel

Aug. 26: Diamond Hunter, Sugar Ray and Edmondo impressed the most when the following horses were exercised on the trial track here on Tuesday.

The over night heavy down pour which had soaked the track had rendered the going sloppy.

Inner sand:

800 metres: Jersey Power (Appu) 51.5, 600/39, fit. The Cool One (rb) 52.5, 600/40. Full Speed (Vinod Shinde) 55.5, 600/40.5. My Winning Charm (rb) 56, 600/42.5, easy. Rebellious (Suraj) 57, 600/42. Rimbuche (S. Marshall) 55, 600/41, un-extended. Local Warrior (S. John) 51.5, 600/40.5, improving. Super Woman (Appu) 50, 600/38, in good form.

1000 metres: Reflection of Gold (Appu) 1-7, 800/51, 600/37.5, in great form. Diamond Hunter (Appu) 1-6, 800/51, 600/38, retains form.

1200 metres: Dark Horse (rb) 1-24.5, 800/57.5, 600/44.5. Royal Ambassador (G. Sapra) 1-20, 1000/1-5, 800/50.5, 600/38.5, a good display. Just Great (rb) 1-27.5, first 600/42, eased. Everything Nice (rb) 1-26.5, first 600/39. Conceptual (S. John) 1-22.5, 1000/1-8, 800/52.5, 600/38.5, moved nicely. One (S. John) 1-28, 800/56.5, 600/42.

1400 metres: Sangini (Raja Rao) 1-36.5, 600/44. Sugar Ray (R. Marshall) 1-35, 1200/1-20.5, 1000/1-7, 800/51, 600/38, pleased. Cindy Girl (Mohd. Shoiab) 1-39.5, 1200/1-25, 1000/1-11, 800/56, 600/43, pushed.

1600 metres: Edmondo (Mohd. Ghous), Jersey Rock (Appu) 1-51.5, 1400/1-35, 1200/1-21, 1000/1-7, 800/53, 600/41.5, former started three lengths behind, finished two lengths in front. Royal Artist (rb) 1-57.5, 1000/1-10.5, 800/54.5, 600/41.5. India Shining (Mohd. Shoaib) 1-47.5, 1400/1-32, 1200/1-19.5, 1000/1-7, 800/54, 600/40.5, impressed.
