Former Bond girl Denise Richards explained the bruise marks on her back saying that it has started appearing after she turned to cupping to cure a bad back.
Richards has become the latest celebrity to turn to cupping. She raised concerns at a press function recently when her back was marked by bruises. She clarified that it was from a cupping session, contactmusic.com reports.
In cupping the glass pots are placed on the skin to draw out toxins and Richards is a big fan of the process. She said, "I find that I feel better when I do it. It doesn't hurt that much, but it looks like someone took a baseball bat to me."
Cupping is also used by other celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow and Britney Spears.
