A US delegation on Friday expressed interest in tapping opportunity in West Bengal with focus in port and airport modernisation.
A US delegation on Friday expressed interest in tapping opportunity in West Bengal with focus in port and airport modernisation."The 25-member delegation met the Kolkata Port Trust chairman in the morning," Chairman of Los Angeles Country Economic Development Corp and World Trade Center Association, Ray Holdsworth told a meeting of Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
They also expressed interest in technology transfer, operation with Port of Long Beach among others at the meeting with KoPT.
KoPT spokesperson said the US delegation also showed interest in the proposed the deep sea port.
An official of Paramount Pictures said the company was looking for opportunity in the film industry of the state.
City Mayor, Bikas Ranjan Bhattacharya said assistance was sought from them for improvement of primary health, tele-medicine and heritage tourism.
