HS examinee found dead in Domjur

A higher secondary examinee, who went missing after giving the history
examination yesterday, was found dead in a pond near her resident at Domjur in
Howrah this morning.
Police suspect the girl, committed suicide apprehending that she may not be
able to secure pass mark in History paper. Police said Dipika Banerjee (17), a
resident of Chowdhurypara near Domjur, left her home yesterday morning for her
examination. Dipika didn't return home following the examination. Her father
lodged a missing complaint with the police late last night. A neighbour of the
victim found Dipika floating in the pond this morning. He informed Dipika's
family members who in turn informed the police.
