Kalyani group to invest Rs65bn in West Bengal

The projects will be set up by the Rs11.11bn Kalyani Steels and in addition,
Bharat Forge, the Baba Kalyani group flagship, plans to set up a high-end
engineering manufacturing cluster in the state where a number of units along
with Bharat Forge will invest.
The Baba Kalyani group mulls to set up a 1mn tons speciality steel plant and a
500MW power plant at an investment of Rs65bn in West Bengal. The projects will
be set up by the Rs11.11bn Kalyani Steels, according to reports.
In addition, Bharat Forge, has plans to set up a high-end engineering
manufacturing cluster in the state where a number of units along with Bharat
Forge will invest.
